Happy New Year everyone! We’re excited to kick-start 2019 and we’re jumping straight in with three brilliant books for January …

Ellie’s bad behaviour is driving grandma mad! It’s time to teach her a lesson she’ll never forget … by swapping Ellie’s body with mean, old Jolly the cat. There’s only one way for Ellie to break Grandma’s curse, and time is running out. Can she change her ways and find some friends to lend a hand? Or will Ellie be trapped as a cat forever?

Award-winning and best selling author Malorie Blackman returns with the magical tale of Ellie and the Cat. Full of mischief and adorable illustrations from Matt Robertson, this gently comic tale will have both girls and boys laughing along and perhaps reconsidering their own mischievous ways!

A heart-wrenching end to their story, all wrapped up in gorgeous artwork from Nick HayesLark will have you laughing at its pitch-perfect humour and reaching for the tissues from start to finish. A beautiful goodbye to our beloved brothers.

Life is pretty tough for Nicky and Kenny. Their mum is gone and their dad has had his troubles. Money is tight and people can be cruel about Kenny’s learning difficulties. But through it all, the brothers stick together, sharing adventures and their love of the natural world, while finding humour in the most difficult of circumstances.

We’re bringing the stories of Nicky and Kenny together for the first time with this stunning collected edition of Brock, Pike and Rook, featuring incredible cover art from Nick Hayes. Whether you’re new to their story or a returning fan of Anthony McGowan’s critically acclaimed novellas, The Truth of Things will be the perfect addition to your bookshelves this January.
